Alterations
We are pleased to offer any alterations to any of our bracelets or necklaces completely free of charge! Once you place your order please email: hello@picnicblanketjewellery.com with your measurements and your order number (e.g. PB4355) and we will take care of the rest!

Measurement Guide
The best way to measure your wrist circumference is by using a flexible measuring tape, but if you don’t have one we recommend using a ribbon or a piece of string.
How to measure your wrist circumference - in four simple steps!
1. With your palm facing up, place the end of the ribbon or string in middle of your wrist
2. Wrap it flat around your wrist where you would normally wear a bracelet
3. Mark where the ribbon overlaps with the starting point
4. Lay this out on a flat surface and use a ruler to take your wrist measurement
Tip: It can be helpful for someone else to hold the tape, ribbon or string if you are measuring your own wrist!

How we use your measurements
We use the measurement of your wrist to size the bracelet accordingly.
As the measurement you provided was taken firmly around your wrist, we increase the internal circumference of the bracelet by approximately 0.5cm (0.2”) to make sure the bracelet fits comfortably when worn.
If you prefer a looser fit on your bracelets (so they freely move up and down your wrist) please let us know and we can increase this size further for you.
Alterations after delivery
In the unlikely event your bracelet arrives and isn't a perfect fit, we will be more than happy to help! Please just let our customer service team know by emailing: hello@shimmerglass.shop
and we will be able to arrange an alteration for you!
Necklace Sizing
We use different sizing methods depending on the style of necklace, please see the options below and email any alteration requests to: hello@shimmerglass.shop along with your measurements order number.
Glass Beaded Necklaces
Our beaded necklaces are typically made 45cm (17.7”) in length, unless otherwise stated.
If you would prefer a different length, please email: hello@shimmerglass.shop with your requirements.
Pearl Necklaces & Seed bead necklaces
Our pearly (simple pearl style) & seed bead necklaces are made with a lobster clasp and adjustable chain. They are adjustable from 39-45cm. If you require a different adjustable size please let us know the range you would like the piece to be adjustable to, please email your requirements to: hello@shimmerglass.shop
Classic Chain Necklaces
Our classic range of satellite chain and Snake chain necklaces are typically available in 18” (45.72cm) and 20” (50.8cm) variations.
We may be able to offer longer or shorter options depending on availability. If you would like to request an alteration outside of these options please email: hello@shimmerglass.shop
